Breast Diagnostic Services

Breast diagnostic services include 3D/Digital mammography, accredited by the American College of Radiology. The American College of Radiology and other national medical organizations recommend that women 40 and older get yearly mammograms. Starting annual screening at age 40 saves significantly more lives and more years of life for survivors than delaying screening until age 45 or 50 or screening every other year.

DEXA Bone Density Scan

DEXA Bone Density Scan is available to measure bone density in the body – an indicator for risk of osteoporosis or bone fractures. The DEXA machine also measures other body composition, such as muscle mass and body fat, making this a fast, accurate and safe way to measure bone health and other compositions.

CT Scans

A CT scan is a diagnostic test that combines the use of X-rays with computer technology. Baptist Health offers the latest technology for these services with a 16-slice "spiral" scanner. This provides better-quality images with shorter scan times for our patients. 

X-ray

X-ray procedures include all general radiology services.
