SPLAT IS BACK

November 01, 2018

Scoppechio, Baptist Health Foundation of Greater Louisville and Benjamin Moore Paints team together for an event unlike any other.

On Sunday, November 4, a unique event will take place at the Big Four® Lawn at Waterfront Park in Louisville.

The event is called Splat Out Cancer. On that day, everyone will be welcome to help create a work of art that will make a bold statement about this community’s dedication to ending cancer. People will use launchers to send paint-filled balloons at a vinyl placed at the base of the Big Four® Bridge, in exchange for a donation to further cancer research plus cancer patient
care/comfort. The event will also feature a kid’s zone, local vendors, food trucks and other community partners.

One hundred percent of the funds generated will go to support the research being done at Baptist Health Cancer Care Center.

The goal is to raise $100,000 so more patients will have access to leading-edge diagnostic and treatment procedures and a full range of support services, such as Lyft rides to treatment, massages and more.

For the second year, Benjamin Moore Paints is the presenting sponsor of Splat Out Cancer, providing hundreds of gallons of paint used for splatting. With a palette including colors such as 'Million Dollar Red', 'Tequila Lime' and 'Hot Lips', the work of art created from Splat Out Cancer stands vibrant, bright, and whimsical.
