Purses, Pumps and Prevention raises nearly $12,000 for HMH Cancer Care

HMH Foundation officials announced that the Foundation raised nearly $12,000 at the 2018 Purses.

Today, at their quarterly meeting, HMH Foundation officials announced that the Foundation raised nearly $12,000 at the 2018 Purses, Pumps and Prevention. The donations go directly to HMH Cancer Care to create a resource center for patients, caregivers and their loved ones.

“For some, the resource center will be a place to pick up information about their diagnosis,” said Tracee Troutt, HMH Vice President and Chief Development and Marketing Officer. “For others, it will be where they get a wig or a turban. And for others, they may get a blanket for their treatments.”

The HMH Cancer Care Resource Center will be housed in the building next door to the Cancer Care Center on Robinbrooke Lane.
