HMH Breaks Ground on LaRue County Medical Facility
Hardin Memorial Health (HMH) officials, physicians, healthcare providers and community leaders celebrated the groundbreaking.
On June 12, 2018, Hardin Memorial Health (HMH) officials, physicians, healthcare providers and community leaders celebrated the groundbreaking of a new HMH Medical Group facility that will be constructed on Lincoln Drive.
The 7,400-square-foot facility will be home to HMH Medical Group Hodgenville Family Medicine. The new office will eventually be home to the providers at Magnolia Family Medicine which is currently located on Mill Road.
In addition, Wesley Moore, M.D., a family practice physician and native of Ohio County, Kentucky, will join HMH Medical Group Hodgenville Family Medicine later this year.
LaRue County Judge-Executive Tommy Turner said, “HMH’s new facility, new services and new providers will give our residents even easier access to care, even closer to home.”
The new building will offer 14 exam rooms, compared to the three exam rooms in the existing space and will offer two new onsite services – Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging. “HMH employs over 200 people from LaRue County, and Magnolia Family Medicine had over 4,000 patient visits last year,” said HMH President and CEO Dennis Johnson.
“We are excited to grow our LaRue County footprint even more and to celebrate this beautiful new building.” HMH partnered with The Land Store for the construction, development and lease of the property. The new facility is expected to be complete January 2019.
