Jackie Ward, M.Div., BCC, Director of Pastoral Care

Jackie is originally from Richmond, KY and serves as the Director of Pastoral Care at Baptist Health Louisville. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Police Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jackie is a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains and has served as the Kentucky Association of Professional Chaplains State Representative for a number of years. Jackie is endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. He brings a diverse ministerial background from working in a trauma center to working in long-term care.

Dale is a native of South Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University, a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Seminary. Dale is a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. Dale has served as the Choir Master in several churches and is currently at Concordia Lutheran Church in Louisville. Dale is chaplain primarily for the Rehab unit, Chemical Dependency and Psychiatry.

Jim is a native of Tennessee. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University, a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Doctor of Ministry from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. Jim is a Clinical Member in ACPE and has served as a pastor and associate pastor in Virginia. Prior to seminary Jim was a police officer. Jim is Chaplain for Home Health and the Cardiology Units.

Erin originally comes from Tucson, Arizona and has spent significant time living in Michigan and overseas in Denmark. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Community Relations from Michigan State University and after a 4 year apprenticeship in Denmark, is a Master Baker. Erin attended Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity and a Certificate in Black Church Studies. Even though Erin works throughout the hospital, her primary area of care is Palliative Care.
