Accreditation of the PM&S 36 Program

This letter is to inform prospective residents of our status with CPME as of our site survey April 2004. As a result of our site survey seeking to change our program from PPMR and PMS-12 to PM&S 36 affiliating with Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital. Per the CPME final report dated November 9, 2004 Phoenix Baptist Hospital has been granted probationary approval of the PM&S 36 and is a candidate for withdrawal of approval, effective July 1, 2005. The name of our program will remain "Phoenix Baptist Hospital and Medical Center, PM&S 36". The Phoenix Consortium will not exist from this day forth.

We at Phoenix Baptist Hospital are proud of our faculty, staff, and residents in achieving this goal. We are confident that the support materials we are submitting will complete the probationary requirements and lead to full approval of the program prior to July 1, 2005.
