Physician and Advanced Practice Clinician Recruitment

A Physician-Led, High-Performing Network

Baptist Health Medical Group brings together all of Baptist Health’s employed providers into one comprehensive, multi specialty network serving residents of Kentucky, Indiana and neighboring states. Backed by the Baptist Health system of hospitals and led by experienced physicians who are distinguished in their fields, the group encompasses nearly 1,500 providers, including 750 physicians and more than 700 advanced practice clinicians. These professionals include primary care providers, as well as highly trained surgeons and specialists, offering advanced treatments, technologies and care.

While many of the Medical Group’s administrative functions are centralized, Baptist Health recognizes that healthcare is delivered on a very personal level. Therefore, our governing structure includes local leadership councils and operations staff in each of the system’s three regions, Kentuckiana, East and West, to address each community’s unique needs.

These councils work together to ensure that patients visiting a Baptist Health Medical Group provider can expect the same quality care at each of our practices and in each of our hospitals – care that is appropriate, timely and centered on our valued patients.

At Baptist Health, we believe in providing our surgeons with advanced technologies to help them provide the best possible care. This includes offering robust robotic surgery capabilities across multiple specialties throughout our system.

Baptist is very invested in technology and robotics and are very willing to help the surgeons get the technology that they need to succeed and provide the best patient care that they can.

The orthopedic service line for Baptist was receptive and they were responsive in obtaining these technologies. So kudos to them for having listened to our viewpoints about needing the technical advancements and also the desire to provide a cutting edge technology to our patients.

I think Baptist's commitment to staying up to date with robotics and having more advanced technologies goes to show how much they do want to serve and care for the patients in their area. Having this technology in our area is very important to us and our patients.

I expressed to them the importance of it and that I thought it was going to be a wonderful technology for the community here. And Baptist really listened to me and they worked really, really hard to provide the robot and get the system set up here.

Our growing robotic surgery program allows our surgeons to perform intricate and delicate procedures with incomparable precision. These minimally invasive techniques help our patients to experience better outcomes and return to their daily activities faster.

We know patients do better when we do minimally invasive surgery and robotics is a large part of that. We have a committee that meets monthly and we're trying to make sure that our quality of care is high and that we're able to get surgeons on the robot when they need to.

The robotic platform helps us do complex procedures by increasing the precision during the operation. Also, be able to do complex procedures in minimal amount of time. One of the main reason why I elected to come and take this position was the availability of the robotic platform twenty four seven.

As a resident, I trained on robotic procedures and knew that that was the type of surgery that I wanted to pursue. So when I found that Baptist Health offered robotic minimally invasive procedures, I was thrilled that I would be able to come to this community and to be able to provide it for my patients.

The ION robotic procedure is a new and great technology. It has allowed us to access parts of the lung and biopsy nodules we never used to be able to do and has really changed the way we've been able to treat our patients with lung nodules.

At Baptist Health, a key part of our vision is to meet the needs of our patients by leading in clinical experience. To help accomplish this vision, we will continue to collaborate with our surgeons to strengthen and expand our system wide robotics program. Offering patients the latest surgical treatment options will allow Baptist Health, our surgeons, and the specialized teams who support them to remain on the leading edge of patient care.

Going forwards, I feel that the, adaptation of robotic technology to orthopedics is only going to expand. I think the horizons are still vast and we are still only part of the journey there.

Baptist has a commitment to the patients in this region by providing them with the best technology available.

We're trying to be a progressive and not a stagnant program. We're trying to address the needs of the surgeons and I think we're doing a pretty good job and we're moving forward and trying to keep it as up to date as possible.

Baptist Health is invested in cutting edge technologies and is invested in advancing our technology and the ability to care for our patients.

Baptist Health is committed to providing the most evidence based medicine and procedures for our patients and I'm thrilled that they are continuing to pursue that to allow us to give our patients the best care and the most up to date care for the future.
